Our Behavioral Services

Through the Health and Wellness Center, applied behavior analysis (ABA) services are offered in home, community, and clinic. Frequent assessments ensure appropriate behavior plan development, implementation, and modification. Parent training is a foundational component of ABA services to support the family dynamic as the individual acquires new skills.

Potential clients should complete and submit the ABA Intake packet and provide the following documentation:

  • Most recent IEP

  • Most recent neuropsychological report

  • Picture of front and back of insurance card

Information should be submitted to ashear@summitagencyma.com or krance@summitacademiesma.com

From there, clients will be added to a waitlist.

The waitlist is reviewed regularly to determine if there is mutual location and availability for staff and client.

The intake process begins with requesting an authorization to complete an assessment through the insurance company and the family completing the necessary consent forms.

Once assessment authorization is obtained, an intake interview with caregivers, observations at school and home, and assessments are conducted and summarized in a report that is submitted to the insurance company to request ongoing ABA services authorization. This process typically takes 3-6 weeks.
