Speech language services are supervised by a licensed Speech Language Pathologist and are delivered by an on-site licensed speech assistant.  The Speech Language Pathologist conducts diagnostic evaluations, writes treatment plans and supervises direct service as required by the student's individual educational plan (IEP).  Students often work in small groups addressing their goals as outlined in their IEP.  The focus of speech and language includes targeting atypical and/or delayed speech and language skills such as language, social communication and cognitive-communication.
