Physical and Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy services are supervised by a licensed OT/R and are delivered by an on-site licensed OT/A.  The OT/R conducts evaluations, writes treatment plans and supervises direct service as required by the student’s individual educational plan. Students often work in small groups with an OTA focused on their individual goals related to fine motor or sensory strategies. The occupational therapist is also responsible for developing and implementing transition goals focused on the individual student as they prepare to transition from high school to the workplace, apprenticeships or college etc.
