Summit Agency announces ribbon cutting ceremony for Health & Wellness Center and Summit Campus

The public is invited to visit the Summit Health and Wellness Center during an open house & ribbon cutting on June 17 from 5-7pm. Visitors can tour the building and meet the staff, including Dr. Oliver Joseph, a psychiatrist who is the chief medical officer of the center. Senator Michael Moore and Worcester Chamber of Commerce CEO, Tim Murray, will be among the keynote speakers at the event.

Located on the corner of Fruit Street and William Street in Worcester, the clinic will support families in central Massachusetts with children with autism and related diagnoses. The clinic will offer mental health counseling, occupational and physical therapy, massage therapy, chiropractic therapy, and acupuncture.

The Summit Health and Wellness Center, opening on July 1, will serve Summit Campus and Summit Academy students, as well as members of the community.

The Summit Health and Wellness Center is a project of Summit Agency, a non-profit organization that provides evidence-based educational and community supports to people with autism and related diagnoses.

“We invite the public to join us that night and learn more about all of our services,” said Daniel DiMezza, Summit Agency’s executive director. “We also will take a few moments to recognize the people that we've collaborated with on this new project. We've received tremendous supported us, and we are grateful for it.”
